Trail running in the Dolomites
Majestic limestone towers and verdant alpine pastures characterize this mountain paradise in Sud Tyrol, also designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Throw into the mix a generous number of chalets and rifugio serving fresh Italian coffee and homemade tart and the result is a “must visit” alpine region for hikers and trail runners. These photos were taken during a magnificent week in October with a crispness in the air and the trees displaying their beautiful autumn foliage.
