Alp Trails offers a range of full days or half days snowshoeing in Haute Savoie in the French Alps. Annecy, Chamonix and La Clusaz/Grand Bornand are the three base locations for these day tours. Between them they offer hundreds of kilometres of world-class snowshoeing trails to explore.

From Chamonix it is often nice to jump on the train for a short ride up the valley to one the smaller villages such as Le Tour or Le Buet. Once there, numerous trails lead into quiet and enchanted snow filled forests and cosy cafes wait to serve steaming mugs of hot chocolate upon your return.
One of our favourite destinations from Annecy is Semnoz mountain, only a short drive from the town but a world away in terms of the scenery - thick pine forest buried in deep powder, punctuated by views of far away mountain ranges.
The Col des Aravis above La Clusaz and The Col de la Colombière above The Grand Bornand offer opportunities to get away from the busy ski areas, make fresh tracks in the snow and absorb the beauty of the winter mountain environment.
