The Scottish Highlands

These pictures were taken in the Glen Affric area of the North-west Highlands. It was winter and the weather was crisp, cold and clear. I was working on a mountain skills development course with a group of veterans and we stayed the week in a remote bothy (a Scottish mountain hut of sorts), only accessible by 4x4 and completely off the grid…. perfect!
