Trekking in Ladakh

On this visit to Ladakh we trekked from The Spiti valley over the 5000m Parang La pass to arrive in the small settlement of Karzok on the shores of Tso Moriri lake. We also undertook a community project in the small village of Mane in the Spiti valley. Ladakh affords an authentic view of traditional buddhist culture against a backdrop of rugged and awesome mountains in this high altitude region of The Indian Himalaya.
